Wicked Deflection is a football discussion site. Contributors enjoy all the football they have time to absorb, which is mostly the English Premier League, the Champions League, National-Team competitions, and European club football.
For various reasons, some of our contributors have connections to France, and have an interest in the plight of Les Bleus. For club football, we mostly support Arsenal, Liverpool, or Manchester
United, but we're in no way limited to discussion of these sides. Anything you would like to discuss is fair game. If you have something interesting to say, than this is your site.
While we respect Chelsea supporters, players, and staff as individuals, we don't support their financial structure that draws from non-football generated revenue, and we're pulling for them to implode.
I can only speak for myself, but I'm long overdue for a Manchester United implosion. Infrequent, but excellent, contributor "The Red Scare" is a supporter of United since the Cantona era, and really enjoys winding up Arsenal supporters. You might find yourself in his firing line if you're given to whinging - but it's all in good fun, mostly.
